TREATMENT PLAN
Upon completion of the intake assessment and examination, an individualized treatment plan is developed with the patient’s participation.
Once the patient is registered with the B.C. College of Physicians, a prescription is issued and the patient must attend an appropriate pharmacy daily to fill their prescription. Dosage is adjusted to the required level in the following weeks and once stabilized, it is expected that the patient will refrain from using illicit drugs.
On-going treatment requires the patient to provide urine samples at random when requested and attend scheduled appointments at the clinic on a regular basis. Counselling services are available upon request as part of the treatment program.
